  abstract      = {The paper presents the results of the research works which have lead to the creation of the simulation model representing activities of a transport-forwarding company and the concept of its integration with the information system of a company as an element of the decision support system. The System Dynamics method has been used in the process of the model designing. The model follows the example of relationships in the fundamental areas of a company's activities and has the module structure. Due to huge expectations with reference to information sources concerning the well-being of a company and its environment, the designed model must be closely integrated with information systems used in a company. The worked out system of integration search, collects and aggregates the needed data. The paper presents the problems which appeared in the experimental phase of the system introducing as well.}
