  abstract      = {This contribution focuses on business objects in the software-infrastructure of organizations. The strategy of reuse software –components as business objects is demonstrated in the case of BPAFrame (Framework for Business Process Automation). BPAFrame realizes a framework for workflow management control constructed on top of business objects for workflow and resources. It uses the suite of specification of OMG-CORBA (Object Management Group: Common Object Request Broker Architecture). The paper discusses problems of establishing and maintaining Business Objects in the context of OMG standardization efforts based on the experiences with BPAFrame.}
